ATTN: WE NEED SOME HELP. PLEASE SHARE WITH FRIENDS AND FANS.
Our main touring vehicle has broken down in STL just before this last run of shows. As of now, the band is stranded in KCMO after our show tonight. We are asking for a possible ride from KCMO to Lawrence KS for one passenger and our gear to make our show FRIDAY at The Jazzhaus. Right now the gear fits in the back of a Toyota Highlander, so a medium SUV or anything like a VAN would be perfect. Our helper will get FREE TICKETS AND MERCH!! (plus gas $) Let us know if you have any leads for a ride for us by contacting team@messyjiverson.com THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

We are pleased and greatly honored to be joining the Kyle Hollingsworth Band (of the String Cheese Incident) as his opening band for four shows on his midwest fall tour. Kyle sat in with us at our last show in Boulder CO at Southern Sun Brewery on his tune Phat Cat. There will be plenty of great music happening on this run. Here is some more info via kylehollingsworth.com
Our 2010 Summer Tour (pt.1) starts this week!! The loop around Missouri will include trips to Columbia MO, Springfield MO, a blowout at the band’s favorite local venue 2720 in our hometown of Saint Louis MO with friends Fresh Heir, and Kansas City MO. From there we head west. 70 west, that is. Our debut in the great state of Colorado has us playing 7 shows in 7 days. With plays in Boulder, Denver, Ft. Collins, Nederland, Breckenridge, and Carbondale; Colorado is looking mighty fine for a takeover right about now. The last part of our run we will head up north for a return to Springfield IL, and debut in Rock Island IL with Mountain Standard Time. Last but not least on our this tour is 07.17.10 Lone Tree IA Camp Euforia. This festival is going to be a massive good time. Be sure and check out campeuforia.com for full details and the killer lineup which includes Euforquestra, Kyle Hollingsworth, EOTO, and more!! You can also BUY TICKETS in advance at this site.
Messy Jiverson has a couple new side projects in the Messy Universe family. Nate Carpenter (keys/bass/vocals), Cannon DeWeese (drums/vocals), & Mikey Wehling (guitar/vocals) have formed the group CDW, or Seedy Dubya; which now plays locally in STL. The band has a plethora of new original material to lay into as well as performing improvised sounds and their own take on some classic tracks from the past. Also keeping themselves busy are Nate and Cannon who will perform improvised and composed music using synthesized and analog sounds every Wednesday in July at Pop’s Blue Moon with their duo group DOWNSTEREO, who has in the past also performed with special guests such as Ben Combe of Particle and also Gavin Duffy of Messy Jiverson. Thank you for supporting your local original composers and performers!
Our Summer Tour (pt.2) is going to be great. So far we have confirmed a return to Chicago at the Kinetic Playground, River Jam Fest in Fort Smith AR, and immix in the stix in Knob Noster MO. More late summer dates are coming so be sure and check our tourdates page and our on the road page for show announcements.
We are very proud to have a new member with the Messy Jiverson team. We have signed an agreement with J Gold Entertainment to handle our booking duties over the next 6 months. We couldn’t be more pleased and excited about this and are very much looking forward to the collaboration. Check out the J Gold Entertainment website for more info about the agency and to check out some of the other bands on the roster, such as Papadosio.
THANK YOU for your continued support of our band. We are truly blessed and honored to have you with us.
